Kadongo Orphans Academy Project

KAL is investigating and negotiating the possibility of undertaking that Kadongo Orphans Academy Project. 

The Kadongo Orphans Academy fell into financial distress at the end of 2023 school year and closed permanently. The 67 children, kindergarten through grade four, have been left without a school. For this the 2024 school year these orphan village children have not been able to attend schools anywhere. During the 2023 school year the head teacher and three teachers as well as the cook and property caretaker we're not paid for the last 6 months of the year. But because of their love of the children they continued to work. Since then all have been out of work. They themselves have families and children of their own they need to take care of. 

Currently King and Lord ministries is negotiating with the owner of the property in school to overtake the maintenance of the property, the rehabilitation and reopening of the school, and the building of a church on the property as a church plant. Currently there is no true New testament Bible Church in this area. The orphan school is located in Houma Bay County which is located in West Kenya not far from lake Victoria
